I designed the M_001 Silk Cocoon Top after a simple tube top that I would wear comfortably almost anywhere on the island. It eluded an ease of elegance whether or not my hair was feeling fierce and voluminous or tamed into a slicked back bun. It never competed with, but rather accentuated and glorified my quirky neckpieces as wearable art. Though it was such a simple garment, I found that it's greatest mainstay and appeal was it's ability to counter balance a wide range of silhouettes on the bottom half.
I made these styleouts not only to visually display said versatility, but also as a purely enjoyable expression of mixing and matching with pieces from brands I admire and would warmly welcome into my own closet.
