I designed the M_001 Silk Slip Dress off of mood boards sprinkled with re-ocurring Calvin Klein, Prada, and other 90s campaigns with Kate Moss sporting something very very similar. Something so simple was in fact very alluring. Maybe it's the whole idea in play of never having to take off your nighty (or as my mom says... jammies) and just roll out of bed and get away with it. The cool girl that's carefree, no need to cry for attention yet knows the key piece she's wearing accentuates all her assets - in the way the silk slinks over every curve, the deep plunge, the side peek at a bit of leg... it's all there, just tastefully teased.
Sneakily or rather I say cleverly, this piece is one you can easily wear to multiple occasions without anyone even raising a brow or snarky suspicion. Here's just another example of how the power of styling... with the right pieces (from another batch of brands I truly desire) you can just about get away with anything. So you're welcome and good luck...
